This position provides assistance to the Director for Athletic Academic Support Services to help facilitate the academic development and progress of student-athletes toward degree completion in basketball and additional sports. This position provides academic assistance to student-athletes, assist with departmental record keeping, provide assistance with departmental liaison activities, and supervise a minimum of one graduate assistant. Duties include assisting in admission and enrollment processes and providing student counseling, as requested. Other duties include assisting with on-campus recruiting and working with faculty and coaches, as needed, to monitor class attendance, study hall attendance, reporting on student progress, and performing other related duties.
Bachelor''s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field required. At least two to three years experience in an Athletic Academic Office on a university campus. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, computer/technological skills, and be able to work with a diverse group of people with various backgrounds, education levels, and cultural differences. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC Rules and Regulations.
Preferred
Qualifications: Master''s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field preferred with four to five years experience in an Academic Athletic Office on a university campus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
